FleetX is a web-based fleet management system built specifically for Irish SPSV (taxi) fleet owners. It's designed for anyone managing between 1 and 50+ taxis who needs to track compliance dates, collect rent from drivers, and understand their fleet's financial performance - without using WhatsApp groups, notebooks, or spreadsheets.

No. FleetX is a web application - it runs in any modern browser on your phone, tablet, or computer. Nothing to download or install. Just go to app.fleetx.ie, create an account, and you're ready to go.

Most fleet owners have their vehicles, drivers, and compliance dates entered within an hour. A 10-car fleet typically takes about 45–60 minutes for full initial setup. After that, day-to-day management takes under 5 minutes per week.

Yes. Contact us at hello@fleetx.ie and we'll set up a demo account pre-loaded with sample fleet data so you can see exactly how FleetX works before committing. We'll typically have it ready within the day.

FleetX tracks all six key compliance items for Irish taxi operations: taxi plate (NTA), NCT certificate, motor tax, vehicle insurance, SPSV suitability test, and driver SPSV licence. Each has its own expiry date and countdown, with configurable alert windows (e.g. alerts at 30 days, 14 days, and 7 days before expiry).

FleetX supports the four common rental structures in the Irish taxi market:

Scenario A: Fleet owner owns the car and the taxi plate. Driver rents both.
Scenario B: Driver owns their car, fleet owner rents them the taxi plate.
Scenario C: Fleet owner owns the taxi plate, driver provides their own car.
Scenario D: Fleet owner provides both car and plate - driver pays weekly rent for everything.

Yes, on the Pro plan and above. You can log every service, repair, and maintenance job against each vehicle - including date, mileage, type of work, and notes. This builds a full service history that's useful for NTA checks and for maintaining vehicle resale value.

Yes. FleetX generates revenue reports that show total income by week, month, year, and custom date ranges. You can break down earnings by vehicle or driver. While FleetX is not accounting software, the reports give you the clean, organised data your accountant needs at year-end. Elite and Enterprise customers can export reports to CSV.

Absolutely. The Fleet Starter plan at €39/month supports up to 5 taxis and is perfect for owner-operators. Even with one vehicle, keeping compliance dates in one place and having automatic reminders before anything expires is worth more than the monthly fee the first time it prevents a problem.

No. FleetX is month-to-month. You can cancel at any time from your account settings with no penalties or cancellation fees.

Yes. You can upgrade your plan at any time - the change takes effect immediately and you're billed pro-rata for the remainder of the month. To downgrade, contact us at hello@fleetx.ie and we'll sort it out.

Your data stays accessible for 30 days after cancellation, giving you time to export what you need. After that, it is permanently deleted from our servers. If you're on Elite or Enterprise, you can request a full CSV export before cancelling.

All FleetX data is stored in the EU West (Ireland) region. Your driver details, vehicle records, financial history, and compliance information never leave the EU. We use Supabase with EU-region hosting for all data storage.

Yes. FleetX is fully GDPR compliant. As an Irish-based service, EU data protection law applies. We collect only what's necessary, store data in Ireland, and give you full rights over your data including access, portability, rectification, and erasure. No. FleetX uses row-level security enforced at the database level - your data is only ever accessible by your account. No other FleetX customer can see your fleet records, regardless of what plan they're on.
